About

Players between LA and Boston compete to gather points by capturing virtual objects from moving their body in space.

This was a project for Verizon to utilize and promote their 5G technology. I was contracted by Sutu through EyeJack to help design and implement the game mechanics and visual content for this experience.

Coming into the project, Sutu had already designed the core aesthetic and flow of the experience, so my task was to build on this and add in my own artistic style and interaction design that could sit well in the neon aesthetic already established by Sutu.

I worked closely with Code on Canvas, who led the technical side of the project and built the foundation for the iPhone lidar scanning tech, the multiplayer 5G networking tech, and the base Unity project. I designed and created vfx content and an interactive game mechanic on top of this foundation.
