Being a huge Teenage Engineering fan, this was a great opportunity to make something exciting.
Built in Unity and Houdini, these visuals run on the Teenage Engineering OP-Z iphone app and can be controlled by the OP-Z as seen in the above gif. Because of a limitation of the export process being that you can’t write any custom scripts, I had to dig deep with some custom mesh vertex data and shader writing to get the animations I wanted of the cubes.
All design and creation by me. The human model was made in Adobe Fuse.
